2005-6 I worked as a Consultant for Ernabella aboriginal community in Northern South Australia facilitating the economic development of women�s pottery project from a trial situation to financially viable facility. The major thrust of the capacity building was to encourage those participating in the pottery section to take on responsibility for decision making around making, decorating, pricing, exhibition selection and planning. This means that the pots produced were the what the women potters wanted to make. The program included training programs, economic management and marketing.

At the women's request young men were also included in the project and they worked towards making the pots for the women to decorate.
